Grant applications are currently closed. Grants were awarded in the areas of:

Columbus_indiana_fountain

Justice/Law Enforcement,
Treatment and Intervention, and
Prevention/Education/Community Awareness.

In determining grant awards, consideration is given to grant projects addressing one or more of the following Problem Statements and Goals* identified in the 2024 Comprehensive Community Plan found HERE.

Problem Statement #1:
Our youth and adult community members have a normalized attitude toward alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs

Problem Statement #2:
Education/Prevention/Screening services are limited in the community outside the Mental Health and Substance use service continuum; lack of education results in a lack of knowledge regarding the impact of trauma on substance use.

Problem Statement #3:
Availability of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco products to youth and adults in the community with little understanding of local trends.
